Part 1/Slow Fashion: Go to the Beach - Maritima Bag

 Maritima Bag, size 35 x 38 cm (13 3/4" x 15")

When I saw the documentation of Arte TV about Fast Fashion I decided to design two bags out of old yarn, some unravelled, some leftovers. All in bright colors. As only a few bags exist which are knitted (mainly they are crocheted) I prefered this technic. The descriptions are easy as well as the pattern and chart. In the instructions I showed also how to fnish the bags nicely. If you like to use them for longer time a bag lining is necessary.I also recommend to knit two same parts for one bag and sew them together on left, right side and below. The seams provide a much better hold and prevent from expanding. You can use any color sequences or you make one in plain color. I wanted to give an idea not to throw material away.
