Cushion cover with pansies, size 50 x 50 cm
Material:
Embroidery, app. 20 x 20 cm (7 3/4" x 7 3/4") (or you make an embroidery with the pancy design, you need cotton fabric or mixture, about 25 x 25 cm (10" x 10")and embroidery floss, work with 2 strands).
Interfacing, app 20 x 20 cm (7 3/4" x 7 3/4")
Ric rac ribbon, 90 cm (35 1/2")
Viscose ribbon for pipe 4 x 220 cm (1 1/2" x 87")
Cord for pipe, 220 cm (87")
1 Zipper, 50 cm (19 1/2")
Polyester thread
Instruction:
Prepare embroidery, use a finished embroidery or make one.

Cut embroidery as square, 20 x 20 cm (7 3/4" x 7 3/4") and finish it nicely with overlock machine or a normal zigzag stitch.
Prepare 2 fleece pieces, one 53 x 53 cm (20 3/4" x 20 3/4").
The other one 53 x 57 cm (20 3/4" x 22 1/4") - the extra 4 cm (1 1/2") are for the zipper.
Now insert a zipper with your sewing machine (I mostly use invisible zippers).
On front piece arrange the embroidery, pin it, fix it with large stitches by hand.
Then sew it on --> foto.
Now sew on the ric rac around the embroidery.
Iron the embroidery well.
Prepare the pipe --> foto. (Easy with a pipe foot).
Insert the pipe between front and back part of the cushion fabric (right side must be inside).
Turn cushion cover, put a pillow into the cushion cover.
On front piece arrange the embroidery, pin it, fix it with large stitches by hand.
Then sew it on --> foto.
Now sew on the ric rac around the embroidery.
Iron the embroidery well.
Prepare the pipe --> foto. (Easy with a pipe foot).
Insert the pipe between front and back part of the cushion fabric (right side must be inside).
Turn cushion cover, put a pillow into the cushion cover.
It looks nice on your sofa !
