Material:
- Cotton fabric, 50 x 150 cm
- Lining farbric, 20 x 40 cm
- Interfacing material, 50 x 100 cm
- Polyester thread for sewing
Instruction:
Copy the pattern, join parts together as shown by arrows. Seam allowance is included in the pattern!
Cut top piece 1 x from cotton fabric and 1 x from lining fabric.
Cut side piece 1 x from cotton fabric and 1 x from lining fabric.
Cut brim piece 2 x from cotton fabric.
Iron on the interfacing material on the top piece, on the side piece and on the brim.
Close the side seams of the cotton side piece and also of the lining piece. But leave a small slit on the lining piece - for turning the hat later.
Pin the cotton top piece to the cotton the piece and sew them together. Iron the seams well.
Do the same with the lining pieces.
Pin the hats together on wrong side at the brim, pin them and sew them around the brim --> foto.
Turn the hat through the small slit of the lining.
Close the slit. Connect the fabrics on the inner edge of the side piece with small stitches by hand. Iron the hat well.
