Fabric gift bag, 19 x 28 cm
Material:
- Cotton fabric, 40 x 30 cm
- Rhinestones
- Transfer foile
- Tweezers
- Polyester thread
Instruction:
Fold the fabric an the middle and make a french seam on open sides (sew item on right side, turn it, iron seams, make another seam on wrong side now, then turn it again to right side).
(I often use french seam for thin materials as silk, chiffon, musselin, thin cotton).
Make also a nice seam on the upper edge.
Prepare the transfer foile, draw your picture on it.
Take off the protective foile and set the rhinestones - shiny side facing down on the transfer foile.
Use a tweezers --> foto.
After having finished the motif put on the protective foile carefully.
If you prepare more motifs, you can store them with the protective foile --> prevents a stone disappears.
Now you can put the prepared transfer foile - facing down on the fabric bag.
Put on an ironing cloth and iron it well.
(The heat of the iron melts the back side of the rhinstones which stick properly on the material after a few seconds - items can also be washed in a clothing bag).
Hot Fix Rhinestones are availabele in different colours and sizes. You can also use these for T-shirts, Bikinis....cost little time to set the rhinestones, but the result is very nice.
