Fabric Christmas Trees, size 9,5 x 11 cm
Material:
- Pieces of fabric
- Interfacing material
- Polyester thread
- Beads or pearls
- Golden thread
Instructions:
Prepare the stencil. Iron on the interfacing material on one side of the fabric. Draw the Christmas tree on the fabric. Put another piece of fabric underneath (I used one right and one wrong side of the fabric, so the Christmas tree will have 2 different sides).
Make a seam around the drawing line.
Cut out the tree and make a zigzag seam around it. Iron the tree well. Then make a golden seam around the zigzag line --> foto.
On top of the tree fix a bead or a pearl with a golden thread --> foto.
Make a few of different fabric pieces !
Here is the stencil for the tree:
The design and instruction are only for private use.
Thank you for sharing the way to do your Christmas Tree. It look so easy, and I can make this one for the Christmas this year :).
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your comment, Laurie. You can use all small fabric pieces what you find at home or old clothes,...
