Crazy TetraederBag, 20 x 28,5 cm

Material:

• Different pieces of leather or artificial leather (vegan)
• Different ribbons as soutache or ric rac
• Interfacing, 25 x 45 cm
• 1 Zipper, 25 cm
• 1 Zipper, 18 cm
• 2 Halfrings, 2,5 cm
• 4 Rivets
• 2 Carabiner hook
• 2 Rings
• Chain, 80 cm
• Polyester thread for sewing

Instruction:

Prepare a paper stencil, size 23 x 45 cm (seam allowance is already included). Then cut a few retangle pieces from leather or vegan leather (I mixed it) about 50 cm long, width as you like.

Attach the stripes with a zigzag seam.

Over the seams sew on a soutache or ric rac.

Iron the whole piece very carefully from the backside, use a cotton cloth for ironing !
Iron on the interfacing on the backside, then cut it same size as your stencil. Now you will have a nice bag fabric. Sew on a few cut out leather flowers --> foto.

Prepare the inside pocket with the 18 cm zipper. Then sew on the 25 cm zipper on the small side of the bag fabric and on the inside sew on the lining. (If your zipper is too long, you can cut it later).

Make a seam on the lining to keep ot flat.

Prepare to ribbons of leather or vegan leather, size 2,5 x 8 cm and attach the halfrings. Sew on these prepared ribbons, one on each side of the zipper --> foto.

Then pin the sides of the bag on reverse side and sew them. Sew also the lining on reverse side, keep a slit of about 10 cm on one side of the lining for turning the bag.

After you have turned it to the right side, close the slit of the lining with a seam --> foto.

Prepare a main handle, finished size 2,5 x 50 cm and fix this on the halfring with a rivet.

For the chain handle cut 2 pieces of 40 cm, put on one end of each chain a carabiner hook. For the other end make a leather or PU handle, finished size 1,5 x 50 cm. Attache this to the metal rings, fix also with rivets.
