Wrap good champagne and nice wine in a bottle bag

Bottle bags for 1 or 2 or 4 bottles.

Material:

• Remnants of padded fabric
• Ribbon for bottel bag handle
• Polyester thread
• Velcro band (loop and hook)

Instruction:

For a single bottle bag cut out two rectangle pieces:  16 x 40 cm and 16 x 50 cm. (the plus 10 cm is for the lid of the bottle bag!).
Sew the pieces on the lower edge together. On one of the upper edges make a seam of about 3 cm --> foto.
(If you like you can sew on your personal label on the front side of the bottle bag).

Then fold the fabric, pin it and sew it on both sides.

Now fold the side seam to lower edge seam and sew it - it looks like a triangle. (After sewing you can cut off the triangle, but leave a seam allowance of about 1 cm !)

The right side of the bottle bag looks like this now:

Make a nice seam around the second upper edge (foto) and sew on a piece of velcro (loop and hook) as the foto shows (to close the bag properly).

On left and right side of the bottle bag sew on a ribbon handle of about 45 cm.

For a double bottle bag cut 32 x 45 cm and 32 x 50 cm. For the handle about 70 cm. Sew a velcro on left and right side, so the bottles cannot fall out.

For a quadruple bottle bag make two seperate double bottle bags, sew them together under both lids and 2 cm on left and right upper side where you fix the handle - also 70 cm long. Sew a velco on every bag opening. (4 velcros).

Wrap the bottles and you will have nice presents now !
