Make a pareo for your summer holidays
Material:
- Cotton fabric, light weight or polyester chiffon or any other light weight fabric, size app. 150 cm width, 65 cm length - or use a left-over.
- Border for edging, app. 2,5 mtrs.
- Polyester thread for sewing
Instruction:
I give you an idea for the stencil:
Prepare the material:
Cut out the pareo and make a rolled seam with your sewing machine, use a zig zag stitch. It is very easy and fast if you use the roll seam foot for your sewing machine.
Then iron the pareo carefully and trimm the border around the lower edge wether by machine or by hand.
I made a few pareos, here is a white one.
